Technical Information The CSC concentric clutch cylinder is a unit that combines both the release bearing & slave cylinder in one component. The release bearing is kept in contact with the clutch unit at all times & self-adjusts within the carrier to maintain a central position on the clutch. This minimises wear & is more efficient than other systems. The fluids used in these designs are extremely important due to the different piston seal type (No.3 on the diagram). Depending on seal type & application, the correct fluid must be used to ensure effective operation of the seal.
